Did you know that Thermostats is our proprietary analytic software package designed to provide you with actionable, near real-time intelligence on consumers and their interactions with your Digital Edition? When we create your digital edition you can have 24/7 access to these analytics to track how your digital catalog is reaching your end-users. Ask your Sales Representative or Account Manager for your credentials if you haven’t already received them. Below is a detailed description of the various features and reports you can access.

Thermostats Interface
The Thermostats interface consists of five sections:

1. Input Bar – The Input Bar is located across the top of the Thermostats page. On the left side of the Input Bar, the publisher may select the desired publication and issue for which he or she wants to view analytics. Located next to the publication selection area is an option to choose the graph style to appear for the displayed data for the active report being viewed. On the far right side of the Input Bar, the publisher may select the date range for the active report being viewed. The date selector requires you to select a start and end date for the report. The first date selected is the start date and the second date selected is the end date.

2. Report Menu – The Report Menu is located on the left side of the main Thermostats window. Reports are organized by category and may be selected by clicking on the report name. A detailed description of all available reports is located below.

3. Report Title Bar – The Report Title Bar is located below the Input Bar and across the top of the main Thermostats window frame. The Report Title Bar contains the title of the active report being viewed. On the far right side of the Report Title Bar is a csv file download button that will allow you to download all data for the active report.

4. Graph Area – The Graph Area is located directly below the Report Title Bar and displays graph results for the selected data. Moving your mouse over the Graph Area will display detailed information for the granular data in a rollover box. You may also zoom in on the graph by simply using your mouse to form a box over a selected area.

5. Data Chart – The Data Chart is located below the Graph Area. The Data Chart consists of columns for each metric included in the selected report. Data will only appear in the report if there has been data to collect for the selected publication(s) and/or issue(s). If an issue has not been viewed, there will not be Thermostats data. By clicking on the check box next to the metric name, you may remove or add the metric to the graph above. You may sort by any metric by clicking on the arrow to the right of the metric name. The circular information button located to the right of each metric name can be clicked on to obtain a definition for the given metric. You may select the number of results to appear in the chart and page through results, using the controls located below the Data Chart.
