We found an interesting article from She-conomy we’re sharing in this week’s blog post. It’s loaded with interesting statistics on women and buying behavior.  If you’re catalog isn’t marketing  to women buyers, even if you sell stuff that is typically for men, you might want to re-think your strategy. According to She-conomy 85% of all consumer purchases are women driven, and the online market is dominated by these buyers. Over the next decade women will control two-thirds of all consumer wealth.

If you’re selling home electronics then you must gear marketing for men right … wrong! How about the purchase of a new car … wrong again! Even when selling sports apparel women are probably your target audience.

With holidays just over two weeks away it’s not too late to change your social media strategy and gear it more toward women buyers. Most women consumers feel they are misunderstood by many marketers and you certainly don’t want to be in that camp.
