The Emerging Technology postal promotion ran in August and September this year. There were 15 Dingley customers who deployed our Augmented Reality solution on their catalog pages to qualify for this promotion. The typical cost was around $300 for each catalog title; however, the combined postal savings for this group of customers was over $145,000. That averages out close to $10,000 per customer!
What were some of the solutions that Dingley implemented to help our customers save on this promotion? We applied Augmented Reality strategies such as poll questions, social media links, product videos, image carousels, animation, and call now/buy now buttons to our customers’ catalogs. Not only did this help them save BIG on the postal promotion, but, it gave them an opportunity to try something new in their marketing strategy as well.
