David Barker, Jr
A graduate of Bowdoin College and working in the fine paper business for a number of years, Dave joined The Dingley Press in 1982. The task at hand was to build the sales for The Dingley Press after the loss of its largest customer, L.L. Bean. Although The Dingley Press was an excellent vendor and partner with L.L. Bean, L.L. Bean’s growth drew them to Gravure printing. The task at hand was great but a super challenge.
Today, The Dingley Press is the 5th largest catalog printer in the United States with over 140 customers nationwide mailing over 350,000,000 catalogs, employing over 350 people in our exceptional 290,000 square foot facility.
Dave has been a longstanding member of NEMOA and VT/NH Marketing Group. Attending the first ACMA Conference, Dave and The Dingley Press support the ACMA mission and the great effort and representation ACMA has in Washington. The ACMA involvement in Postal Affairs and the strong representation for the Catalog Industry parallels the support The Dingley Press has for our catalog customers.
